Takeoff Biography

TAKEOFF (Born Kirshnik Khari Ball on June 18, 1994 in Georgia) was an American rapper who was best known for being a member of the hip hop family trio Migos. Takeoff was always considered the quite and reserved among the trio group with overwhelming lyrical prowess.

Takeoff is the youngest member of trap trendsetters Migos, whose songs “Versace” and “Bad and Boujee” became major streaming joints, and whose 2017 sophomore album, Culture, topped the pop charts in both the U.S. and Canada.

Takeoff has an estimated net worth of $26 million and between a span of a year. Migos earned about $25 million collectively. As their streams numbers topped increasingly, it was a revolution in trap music and after their tour of 93 appearances in 12 months, they became one of the most popular streaming acts and earned $36 million.

Takeoff’s Death

On the 1st of November 2022, Takeoff died after being shot at a private party of about 40-50 people, according to TMZ. The artists uncle and record mate Quavo rushed to help him following the incident that took place at a Bowling Alley in Houston, Texas in the early hours of the day. It is believed the pair was playing dice when the shooting happened. It is not known what sparked the shooting but the whole atmosphere was full of tension as two others where taken to the hospital.
