Andrew Onwubolu with the stage name Rapman, is a British rapper, music producer, actor, writer and film director. He started his early life in Deptford, London, Lewisham.

Rapman is best known for creating and directing the YouTube musical drama series Shiro’s Story, this three part series has since achieved a cult following among the music scene in the United Kingdom. Rapman presents most of his story lines through rapping which has given him a unique style and sense creativity in the industry.

The series got over 20 million views. After the release of Shiro’s Story he was offered a contrato work for his short form content platform Quibi. He ultimately had deals in between one which is a recognition by Roc Nation. In partnership with BBC Films and Paramount Pictures, Rapman embarked on developing a previous YouTUbe series he made in 2014, Blue Story into a full length movie which came into play in 2019.

In 2022, Rapman was appointed MBE in the 2022 Birthday Honours from Elizabeth II for services to drama and music, through his rapping and filmmaking. Currently,  the initiative and ultimate creative mind Rapman, with Netflix are working to put out a new movie Supacell.
